Initially launched as a student model, the Fender® Mustang became a cult guitar and future mainstay of alterntive scenes from David Byrne, Kurt Cobain & Sonic Youth to PJ Harvery & Warpaint, stricking a chord with bands & guitarists looking for something away from traditional styles, plus they were easy to come across and (until recently) inexpensive 2nd hand - though the Fender® Squier® range make grat guitars to modify and upgrade.

Alongside more Strat-like sounding versions & modern hotter, custom & alternative designs, I currently make a number of handwound Replacement Mustang single coil pickups.

I also make custom designs such as my Strat-90 (Strat sized P90), twin output versions and my Sonic '60 Pickups to fit the Mustang / Duo-Sonic as well for those looking for something a little different to traditional deisgns.

I don't have pickups all boxed up ready to send out; each order is custom-made so I can tailor a set of handwound replacement Mustang pickups to suit your own guitar, the sounds you're after and your style of play.
