Brighter, Crunchier P90 Soapbar Sized Humbucker Pickup

A dual blade magnet humbucker pickup inside a P90 that requires no modifications to your guitar at all. My P90 sized Humbuckers even look like a P90 - Once installed, no-one will spot the difference until you plug in and play.

Great string definition & clarity due to the dual blade magnets. More of a crunchy "Doubled up" hum-cancelling tone than the fat single coil voice of my classic P90, these new P90 sized dual blade Humbucker Pickups give a rich, crunchy, bright & biting attack.

All the depth of a humbucker with the sparkle of a single coil. The two, thin 43awg coils help give a clear, yet slightly warmer mid-range which balances the brighter frequencies of this versatile design.

I use the thinner 43AWG coil wire on this design which means the actual perceived volume will be lower than the high output reading would suggest, namely around 9.5k Bridge & 8.3k Neck respectively. There are a few misconceptions about using thinner gauge wire to achieve a higher output and I'm currently writing a blog post about it.

More of a warmer, PAF style P90 sized Humbucker

A bar magnet style humbucker pickup inside a P90 that requires no modifications to your guitar at all. Its essentially the standard humbucker design of two coils with bar magnet and steel pole screws. The slight difference, other than the size & look, is that I use a series of 5 magnets designed to fit around the 2 central fixing screws. I do this to make the pickup a completely direct drop-in replacement.

Unlike other P90-sized PAF style humbuckers, there's no need to drill new mounting holes into the body of your guitar with mine. No modifications necessary to your guitar.

More of a warmer, classic humbucker tone than my 12-pole design, slightly brighter and more focused as I allow both rows of pole screws through the custom made covers.

More of a warmer, PAF style P90 Dogear sized Bridge Humbucker

A bar magnet PAF style bridge humbucker pickup inside a P90 Dogear that requires no modifications to your guitar at all. Its essentially the standard humbucker design of two coils with bar magnet and steel pole and/or screws. A completely direct drop-in replacement with your choice of Alnico 2, 3, 4 or 5 magnets.

Warmer, classic humbucker tones with the option of more traditional 6 visible pole screws and hidden steel slugs under the cover or 12 visible pole screws. P90 Dogear covers, although made of plastic, are quite thick meaning the hidden steel slugs are just that little bit further away from the strings whereas the full set adjustable pole screw option means all 12 pole screws can be adjusted to suit your neck radius or to dial in individual strings for emphasis. I offer both these options as some customers prefer the more vintage humbucker 'look' whereas others want more clarity & definition.
