Looking for something different - All the custom, unique & offbeat pickup designs, now on one page.
Over the past few years I've become known for a certain few pickups designs, some unique, some detailed replicas of classic pickups from past eras and really, it was after a number of suggestions I decided to created this page as a simple way to showcase them all for those who wanted to go straight to 'something a little different'.
All these designs are made using many custom manufactured parts. All the profits the business makes go straight back into R&D plus manufacturing of custom designed parts, from magnets & bobbins to covers & baseplates. I try to use as few off-the-shelf parts as possible not for any snobbish reasons, simply to be able to be in control of how each separate element affects the sound - Each pickup is the sum of its parts.
